What is Yoga Therapy?
Our approach is to completely understand a person's health challenge. Whereas most doctors treat specific diseases or ailments, we consider all aspects of the client's health. Mind and body, age and place. We teach our clients how to help themselves, replacing bad habits for good ones. Self-healing enables long-lasting prevention and provides tools for the client to practice at any convenient time in the comfort of their own home. The aim of the therapy is to achieve efficient and lasting results, allowing clients to move beyond restriction, compensation and dependency on therapy.
As IAYT (Internation Associations of Yoga Therapists) members we are committed to a responsible and ethical practice for our own professional and personal growth, and to contribute to the growth and development of all others in the field of yoga. Our classes and trainings create a safe environment for learning and healing for all teachers and students, empowering individuals to progress toward improved knowledge, health and wellbeing through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga. The practice involves and may not be limited to:
- Asanas, specific Yoga poses for the client's ailment
- Breathing exercises
- Meditation
- Relaxation techniques
- Visualization
